Behind the Music

On this page, you'll find out what motivated me to make the following albums!

Science Fiction Music (2021)
genres: electronic music (techno, trance, ambient, dubstep, house & more)

Pablo the Mad Tiger Warrior grew up with brothers who loved science fiction movies. He watched a few science fiction movies but eventually lost interest in watching films on a consistent basis. (ooh, the blasphemy). However, he did gain an interest in electronic music, many of which have a science fiction vibe.

With advances in digital musical technology  Pablo the Mad Tiger Warrior created an amazing collection of instrumentals combining the sounds of various electronic music genres (ie. techno, house, trance, deep dub, dubstep, ambient, dancehall & more) to make an epic instrumental album of amazing science fiction music!

Naptime Music (2020)
genres: easy listening, mood music, relaxation music,

This instrumental album was inspired by the time Pablo the Mad Tiger Warrior spent as a substitute worker in preschool classes where naptime is part of the day. Slow relaxing music was used to calm the children down as they lie down and took a nap. It was the greatest part of the day.

It’s not just the children who can benefit from this music. Adults too can benefit from using slow relaxing music to calm themselves down in this busy world.

With digital technology, Pablo the Mad Tiger Warrior has combined the elements of various genres (including easy listening, trance, ambient, soul, smooth jazz, classical, house) to make an instrumental album of slow, relaxing music perfect for naptime.

Urban Honolulu Metal Industries (2018)
genres: industrial metal, heavy metal combined w/ multiple genres

Pablo the Mad Tiger Warrior grew up in urban Honolulu in the 80’s and 90’s fascinated by the aggressive, energetic sounds of heavy metal. He even thought of starting a rap-metal band but recruiting difficulties and other responsibilities got in the way.

With digital technology, Pablo the Mad Tiger Warrior has become a one-man band making instrumental tracks of various genres. He has created the Urban Honolulu Metal Industries, where he mixes heavy metal with classical music, dubstep, industrial, Caribbean, polka, brass, hip-hop and more to manufacture some amazing instrumental metal tracks.

Sounds Like a Video Game (2017)
genres: electronic music (chiptunes, dubstep & more)

Pablo the Mad Tiger Warrior grew up with brothers who loved to play video games. He played them for a while, but lost interest (ooh, the blasphemy). However, Pablo the Mad Tiger Warrior loves the sound effects of video games. Pablo the Mad Tiger Warrior also loves the sounds produced by electronic music innovators Kraftwerk, as well as the sounds of modern day digital musicians like Skrillex.

With this album, Pablo the Mad Tiger Warrior combines the elements of various electronic music genres (ie chiptunes, dubstep, industrial, EDM) as well as hip-hop, rock and classical to make a wonderful instrumental album that sounds like a video game.

=================

The following 4 singles were released in 2016 before I started releasing albums.

I decided to put those tracks out separately in a span of 3 months to give my early fans a glimpse of the variety of genres that I would be working on, that I'm all about making music of a variety of genres. I chose to start with 1 hip-hop instrumental (Jam with the Arp Stab), 2 electronic music instrumentals  (Spaceship Track, Wouw Islandbell), and 1 rock instrumental (Real Buzzer Industries).  Had I spent more time pondering the titles, I would've came up with better titles for the tracks before releasing most of  them, though I thought "Spaceship Track" had the perfect title.

Wouw Islandbell (2016)
genre: EDM, house, trance

An EDM/house/trance instrumental track named after the sound settings from Music Maker Jam app.  The first sound you hear is the "Islandbell" sound, "wouw" is that sound similar to what you hear from didgeridoo!

Real Buzzer Industries (2016)
genre: mix of grunge and industrial rock

This is a rock instrumental that combines elements of grunge & industrial rock! Imagine mixing the sounds of Soundgarden with Nine Inch Nails, it might sound like this. Comes with a sense of 90's nostalgia!

"Real Buzzer" is the name of the guitar sound settings from Music Maker Jam used in this track.

Spaceship Track (2016)
genre: trance, house

This instrumental track gives a vibe that you're in a spaceship in an old-school science fiction movie. Sounds like a Kraftwerk track with a reggae-rock guitar lick!

Jam with the Arp Stab (2016)
genre: hip-hop instrumental

The debut instrumental track from digital musician Pablo The Mad Tiger Warrior! It has a hip-hop vibe as if you're riding & cruising. I named the track after the sound settings (ie. Jam guitar, Arp Stab sequence) from the Music Maker Jam app! I wish I gave the track a different name that's more catchy, but it's too late, the track is already out there in online stores.  But you'll love this track regardless of the title :)
